During year 1 (December 3 2016 to September 2, 2017), I noticed that the project was shifting away from a narrative format (stories about soundscapes) towards mindfulness exercises (contextual and meditative listening) …
Therefore, on September 9, 2017, I launched the 2nd iteration of simplesoundscapes in a new format: 3-minute sound-focused videos with a 3-minute audio podcast drawn from the video’s audio track. The recordings are published when they are ready, either one at a time or in groups.
In order to have a fresh start, I have removed all the previous 10 minute podcasts, except for e00 simplesoundscapes : best of year 1, which brings together some of my favorite moments from year 1 of simplesoundscapes in a 5 part composition that overlays 2 excerpts in each section. The duos are:
